The Going Big! Podcast was originally positioned around ambition, scale, and “transformative insight”—a show meant to inspire nonprofit and mission-driven leaders to think bigger and create impact. But the language and visuals were broad and abstract. In a crowded leadership podcast space where many shows promise inspiration and insight, Going Big! risked sounding like every other leadership show. What listeners would actually feel or take away after an episode wasn’t clearly defined.

We listened to the episodes with fresh ears, tracking when the conversations became more human. Moments when the energy shifted and the stakes felt real. The pattern was consistent: the most powerful moments weren’t frameworks or conclusions. They were quiet turning points—everyday people choosing to risk comfort for an idea.
The guests were builders and leaders across business, nonprofits, and public life. Trailblazers who achieved extraordinary impact in their work and communities. But the most compelling moments were hearing, firsthand, what made them pursue bold ideas and take risks to build something remarkable. Their “why” showed up in a single moment of clarity around purpose.
That told us what listeners were actually coming for: not expert commentary, but the real story of how purpose is found, and how it changes behavior before success is visible.
We saw a pattern emerge. Host Kevin Gentry’s work with nonprofit and mission-driven leaders has always focused on the human side of impact. His best interviews happen when his questions slow the moment down so guests name what changed.




Our job was never to reinvent the show. It was already a #1 nonprofit podcast. Our role was to clarify the listener's promise by focusing on the defining moments where purpose first emerges. That shift became the tagline: Purpose begins here.
From there, the identity system became clear. We designed a narrative and visual system that demonstrates how stories of big impact begin with small moments: one shift, one choice, one courageous step. Visually, we built a system that’s simple yet bold: small people facing large obstacles, minimal shapes carrying massive meaning, and open doorways that signal new beginnings. Copy, illustrations, and transitions reinforce that Going Big! starts with a moment of divergence from the status quo.
Today, positioning, language, and visuals operate as one coherent system. The Going Big! website is not just a place for “big ideas.” It’s a place where listeners can recognize themselves at a crossroads and learn from the quiet moments that shaped extraordinary lives.
