An independent agency finds its edge against a category of bloated conglomerates.

The communications industry had consolidated into a small group of large, slow-moving holding company agencies that looked and sounded alike. Lewis was independent, fast, and genuinely different. The brand did not reflect that. In client work with Lewis, the engagement delivered a full global rebrand in eight weeks covering new positioning, messaging architecture, logo system, photography direction, graphic language, and a complete style guide. The strategic challenge was not just visual refresh but competitive reframing, giving Lewis a distinct point of view in a category where differentiation had stalled. The work needed to hold from San Francisco to Beijing across a globally distributed team and client base. It did. The rebrand was met with strong internal alignment and external recognition across Lewis offices worldwide.
